About Anzac Day 2026
Anzac Day 2026 falls on Saturday, April 25.
Anzac Day, April 25, is Australia's most solemn national day — a public holiday in every state and territory honoring all Australians who served and died in war, held on the anniversary of the 1915 Gallipoli landing. It is closer in spirit to Memorial Day than to the Fourth of July.
