About this countdown
This countdown targets Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 15, 2027, set by the rule: Third Saturday in May. It runs on your device's clock and counts to midnight at the start of the day.
Armed Forces Day is an observance rather than a public holiday, so offices, banks and schools keep their normal hours. Nobody gets a paid day off for it, though plenty of people mark it anyway. Armed Forces Day, the third Saturday in May, honors the men and women curently serving in the U.S. military. It is a national observance, not a federal holiday, so nothing closes beyond a normal Saturday schedule.
