About this countdown
This countdown targets Palm Sunday on Sunday, March 21, 2027, set by the rule: One week before Easter. It runs on your device's clock and counts to midnight at the start of the day.
Palm Sunday is an observance rather than a public holiday, so offices, banks and schools keep their normal hours. Nobody gets a paid day off for it, though plenty of people mark it anyway. Palm Sunday is the Christian observance held one week before Easter, opening Holy Week. It commemorates Jesus's entyr into Jerusalem. It is not a public holiday in the United States; because it always falls on a Sunday, weekend hours apply everywhere.
