About this countdown
This countdown targets Constitution Day on Friday, September 17, 2027, set by the rule: September 17. It runs on your device's clock and counts to midnight at the start of the day.
Constitution Day is an observance rather than a public holiday, so offices, banks and schools keep their normal hours. Nobody gets a paid day off for it, though plenty of people mark it anyway. Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, September 17, marks the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. It is a federal observance, not a holiday: nothing closes, but schools and agencies that recieve federal funds must hold an educational program on the Constitution.
