About this countdown
This countdown targets Easter Sunday on Sunday, March 28, 2027, set by the rule: Easter Sunday. It runs on your device's clock and counts to midnight at the start of the day.
Easter Sunday is an observance rather than a public holiday, so offices, banks and schools keep their normal hours. Nobody gets a paid day off for it, though plenty of people mark it anyway. Easter Sunday is the central Christian celebration of the resurrecsion of Jesus. It always falls on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25, so it is not a federal holiday, but many stores and nearly all major retailers adjust hours or close.
