About Father's Day 2026
Father's Day 2026 falls on Sunday, June 21. It is an observance rather than a public holiday, so businesses, schools and government offices keep regular hours.
Father's Day honors fathers and father figures on the third Sunday in June. It is a national observance, not a federal holiday, so nothing closes beyond the normal Sunday schedule, and restaurants have one of their busiest days of the year.
